At ARRT, we’re excited to shine a light on one of our newest team members, Alejandra, who has quickly become a key player in our operations. With a strong background in operations support and administrative coordination, Alejandra brings a passion for optimising workflows and a proactive approach to keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. Her efforts have already made a significant impact, especially in supporting our growing focus on product development.

A Journey into Operations  

Alejandra’s career has always been centered around supporting teams and improving processes. Her previous experiences have allowed her to develop the skills needed to manage the details that keep businesses functioning efficiently. Now, as part of the ARRT team, she supports the Operations Manager and the broader company by coordinating schedules, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring internal operations run like a well-oiled machine. When asked about her motivation for joining ARRT, Alejandra explained, “I’ve always been drawn to roles where I can help streamline workflows and make things more efficient. It’s incredibly satisfying to know that my efforts contribute to a team’s success and help the company achieve its goals.”   

Driving Efficiency and Enabling Growth

Alejandra’s main focus at ARRT is to optimise internal processes, enabling the team to stay on track with projects, particularly in data integration and cloud computing. Her proactive approach ensures that potential problems are addressed before they escalate, allowing the team to focus on delivering high-quality solutions. 

A significant part of Alejandra’s role involves working closely with the Operations Manager, which she finds especially rewarding. “We have a great dynamic,” she said. “I enjoy collaborating with the Operations Manager because we can really keep everything on track together, and that kind of teamwork is essential when it comes to keeping the company moving forward.” 

Her contributions have been especially valuable as ARRT expands its product development efforts. Alejandra has played a crucial role in coordinating workspaces and arranging travel for the team, ensuring that events and meetings run smoothly. “I enjoy the challenge of finding ways to make everything as seamless as possible, whether it’s booking the right workspace or managing the logistics for a big event. It’s rewarding to know I’m helping the team stay focused on bringing new products to market,” she shared.

Embracing Remote Working at ARRT 

When asked how she finds working for a fully remote company, Alejandra expressed appreciation for the strong communication within the team. “The remote setup works really well because the team maintains great communication,” she explained. “I particularly enjoy our weekly catch-ups, which mix post-week work debriefs with plenty of social chat shared over a cuppa and a biscuit. It’s a nice way to stay connected and keep things friendly, even though we’re all working from different places.” 

She also noted that remote working enables her to travel to and from her home country of Sweden with ease, allowing her to maintain a flexible lifestyle. “The freedom to work from anywhere has made it much easier for me to visit family and stay connected with my roots,” she added. 

Staying Productive: True Crime and Tasks

When asked how she likes to remain productive during her workday, Alejandra revealed that true crime podcasts are her go-to. “Listening to true crime podcasts really helps me stay focused,” she said. “There’s something about diving into a good story that keeps me engaged while I’m working through tasks.” It turns out that this love for true crime is a shared joy with ARRT’s director, Rich Hughes, who also enjoys catching up on the latest cases. 

Life Outside Work: Samba, Acting, and Adventures 

Outside of the office, Alejandra has a range of hobbies that bring balance and excitement to her life. Her passion for samba dancing offers a lively, creative outlet. “It’s high-energy, colourful, and such a great way to express yourself,” she said when asked about her involvement in samba carnival performances. “It’s a perfect way to balance the demands of work with something that’s both fun and challenging.” 

Alejandra also has a unique side hobby in acting, having participated in background roles for Netflix shows. This experience has given her an opportunity to see a different side of the entertainment industry, adding variety to her personal interests.  

Alejandra and Benji: The Adventurous Duo 

Alejandra’s adventurous spirit extends to her four-legged companion, Benji. “Benji is always ready for the next big adventure, just like me,” she laughed when asked about her travel buddy. The pair enjoys exploring new hiking trails and discovering hidden gems around the city. “He’s my little partner in crime when it comes to finding new places to explore.” 

Looking Forward: Making a Mark at ARRT 

Since joining ARRT, Alejandra’s proactive problem-solving and dedication to improving operational efficiency have already made a positive impact. Her efforts in coordinating logistics, working with the Operations Manager, and optimising workflows are instrumental as the company ramps up its product development initiatives. “I’m excited to continue growing with the company and seeing how I can help shape the future of our projects,” she said. 

Alejandra’s ability to manage complex tasks and streamline operations reflects ARRT’s commitment to excellence in digital transformation and product innovation. As we continue our journey, we’re thrilled to have Alejandra’s support in making our ambitious goals a reality.
